Condition Monitoring, Diagnosis, Prognosis, and Health Management for Wind Energy Conversion Systems

چکیده

C ONDITION MONITORING, DIAGNOSIS, PROGNOSIS, AND INTELLIGENT HEALTH MANAGEMENT are effective means to reducing the downtime and maintenance cost and improving the reliability, capacity factor, and lifespan of wind energy conversion systems. These benefits will make wind energy a more cost-effective, reliable source for green electricity generation. These important issues have drawn more and more attention during the last decade and significant research effort is being taken by both academia and industry to advance the technologies for condition monitoring, diagnosis, prognosis, and health management of wind energy conversion systems. This special section aims to provide a platform for academic and industrial communities to report recent findings and emerging research direction in this field.
